Antwaun Powell is a 6’3” 215 pound weak-side defensive end. Watching his film, you can see that Powell has a very good first step and gets into the opponent’s backfield quickly. Powell also different moves and doesn’t have to rely on a bull rush to get to the quarterback. He’s a big time hitter and also does a good job of setting the edge and keeping the ball in front of him. Powell’s athleticism makes him a great pass rusher and is also very sound in defending the rush. This is a great pick for the Todd Grantham and the Florida Gators defense.
